Our Philosophy

Different flowers make a garden thrive.

Our Learning Garden is a space where everyone belongs. Just as different plants and creatures make a garden grow, different ideas, cultures, languages and learning styles make our community stronger. We call this our Living Garden Approach — learning that is responsive, evolving, and deeply connected to each unique child.

Relationships come first

We believe strong relationships are the foundation of learning, with community at the heart of our days.

Caregiving is the curriculum

Children thrive when they are known, understood, and cared for as individuals. Through responsive relationships, we support each child's unique path of growth and learning.

Rooted in place

On the unceded territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, we learn alongside the land, each other, and the wider community around us.
